2007 Pinot Grigio - Columbia Valley

The 2007 Pinot Grigio is our first release from a grape known in France as Pinot Gris. Pinot Grigio is most commonly found in Northern Italy. We are excited to be introducing this varietal as our first Italian white wine to be added to our wine list. Made from 100% Pinot Grigio this wine is medium in body with a very attractive floral bouquet. Bursting with aromas and flavors of white peach, pear and honeysuckle, it has a finish that is silky-smooth on the palate. We recommend trying this wine with grilled chicken, grilled halibut, pan seared sea scallops and other seafood dishes. Some other family favorites are proscuitto and melon, crab risotto, chicken piccata, and fontina cheese melted over sliced polenta.
